Einstein famously said that "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
One of the most baffling things which I experience on a daily basis is when people do things because "that's the way it has always been done."
It's a robotic, mindless approach.
It's idiotic.
Honouring tradition or not, there is always an underlying rationale to how or why we do things.
We must be practical and pragmatic.
We must assess within our current environment and circumstance to ensure it is relevant.
Things change.
Society and the modern world is evolving faster than it ever has in history.
You need to shift.
You need to pivot.
You need to evolve.
You need to adapt.
You need to be nimble.
You need to be agile.
You need to think outside of the box.
Else, you will be left in the dust.
You will not cope with the pace of environmental growth around you.
Be critical.
Question everything.
And if it doesn't make sense, find a new way that does.
If it doesn't make sense, don't do it!
