But what is happiness except the simple harmony between a man and the life he leads.

"But what is happiness except the simple harmony between a man and the life he leads." - Albert Camus

What is happiness, really?

Is it when you get all the money?

When you get the exotic car?

When you get the promotion?

When you're in the perfect relationship?

Sure, these things are nice.

But do they feature in my definition of happiness?

For me, they don't.

For me, happiness simply lies in two words.

Authentic expression.

Being authentic, your true self, as you were born to be.

Not who society and your environment has mould you into.

Expression is projecting, externalising, communicating.

Through authentic expression, you are in sync with your true self, and living without reservation.

Living how you feel, and feeling how you live.

Acting with complete purity.

Freedom to spread your wings.

A harmony between authenticity and expression of your truth.

To me, there is nothing more liberating.

To me, this is true happiness.

Strive to live, live to strive.
