"Change is hard. But hard things come with incredible rewards." - James Lawrence
James Lawrence, A.K.A. the Iron Cowboy, is an amazing human being.
He is best known for conquering 50 Ironman triathlons, in 50 consecutive days, in all 50 states across America.
Some quick facts.
He covers 140.6 miles per race.
Each race took an average of 14-17 hours to complete.
He had to travel to the next state upon completing the race.
He did it for 50 days straight!
When you think something is getting too hard.
That you cannot go on.
That it's too tough.
Think of James Lawrence.
Whatever you're doing, it is probably safe to say that it's not as taxing, physically, mentally, spiritually, as what he accomplished.
This is a testament to the human spirit.
Your limits are as high as your mind allows them to be.
If you're chasing your dreams, don't give up, no matter what.
If you'd like to read more about James' story, as well as the stories of two other equally-inspirational human beings, see my latest blog post, "What's your excuse?", where I detail the stories of these three amazing people.
Strive to live, live to strive.
