You've heard the old saying, "don't judge a book by its cover."
Too often, we are quick to pass judgement.
We judge on appearance, through actions, beliefs, ways of thinking.
But we don't stop to think about the person we're judging.
We don't stop to think about the journey they have made.
How they may have been brought up.
The environment which they've been exposed to.
The challenges they've had to face.
Their personal circumstances.
We don't stop to consider these things before we pass judgement.
We do this because none of it is immediately apparent to us.
We do this because we don't know.
Everyone is different.
Everyone has been raised in their own unique ways.
Everyone has adopted different systems of belief and values.
Everyone has suffered their own tragedies and adversities.
Everyone has a story.
And every story is unique.
Before you judge someone.
Before you trash on their ways of thinking.
Just remember, everyone has a story.
