However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do, and succeed at. It matters that you don't just give up.

"However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do, and succeed at. It matters that you don't just give up." - Stephen Hawking

A tribute to the great physicist and human being.

Not only was he one of the greatest scientific minds of this generation.

He was also a remarkable human being.

This quote of his really embodies how remarkable a man he was.

He was diagnosed with a motor neurone disease, ALS, at 21 years of age and doctors gave him two years to live.

He passed yesterday, at age 76.

The man spent more than two-thirds of his life with a physically crippling disability.

He was still able to achieve a myriad of accolades in his respective fields of theoretical physics and cosmology.

He held many prominent roles at the University of Cambridge.

He was an author who wrote several best-selling books.

He was an actor and film maker.

But to me, his greatest trait was his sense of humour.

Despite the great challenges this man has had to face for most of his life.

He has been able to achieve so much in life.

He has and will continue to inspire millions around the world.

All with a smile on his face.

With a great attitude and perspective on life.

He never gave up, regardless of the challenges he had to face.

Stephen Hawking embodies the notion that all limitations in life are self-imposed.

That your limits are what you make them.

What limitations have you put on yourself?

Rest in peace, Stephen Hawking.

Strive to live, live to strive.
