Just like the body, the mind also needs to be kept healthy.

Negativity and unhappy states of mind can manifest into physical ailments over time.

Your body releases a number of hormones into your system in times of stress and anxiety.

Continual release of hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline can cause hormonal imbalances in the long-term.

If they are not properly regulated, it can lead to a number of health issues such as difficulty sleeping, weight gain and high blood pressure.

You exercise your body to keep it at its physical peak.

So too should you exercise your mind to keep it sharp, focused and healthy.

Be happy, smile, and don't sweat the small stuff.

You'll feel better for it, it more ways than one!

Strive to live, live to strive.
