"If changing your diet is expensive, I don't know what they would say about being bed-ridden and incapacitated." - T. Colin Campbell, PhD
Eating well isn't cheap.
There are certainly cheaper options.
They're usually more convenient too.
But like everything, you get what you pay for.
What you save in time, money and effort, you pay for in other ways.
By choosing to put poor quality food into our bodies.
Food-like-products.
Energy-dense foods which have little-to-no nutritional value.
Our bodies were simply not built to ingest, absorb, or process these types of substances.
It is abuse of the internals of our bodies.
Over time, sickness and disease will surface.
The time and money saved from eating a poor diet will be spent being unwell.
Dealing with sickness.
With disease.
We wouldn't intentionally abuse our bodies externally on a daily basis.
Why would we do it to our bodies internally?
In my latest Book Review #5, I review "The China Study", which covers in detail one of the most long-running and comprehensive nutritional studies to ever be conducted. Please see my book review for this as well as reviews of two other great titles.
Strive to live, live to strive.
