"It's time to reverse the demonization of healthy fats and our reliance on refined and processed carbohydrates" - Dr. Joseph Mercola
The stigma against dietary fats is slowly fading.
We've all but debunked the misguided science which introduced the low-fat revolution which started in the mid-nineties.
We are starting to realise the importance of good fats as part of a balanced, wholefoods diet.
But as a society, this understanding is only within the minority.
Your mitochondria produce most of the energy within your body, and uses whatever nutrients you put into your body to do so.
Think about your car - if you use high quality fuel, it will keep the engine clean and your car will perform optimally.
If you use cheap, low quality fuel, the internal components of the engine will get damaged quicker and your car will not run as efficiently as it is capable.
Good, healthy fats are the cleanest source of fuel.
The glucose-rich refined carbs lack vital nutrients, leave toxins in your body and are damaging to your cells and mitochondria.
Physical health is your responsibility.
Lethargy, low energy levels, brain fog, illness, disease - we don't have to just deal with this.
Take care and take charge of your health and wellbeing.
Only use the best quality fuels.
