Lessons come hard only if you're deaf to them; don't be.

"Lessons come hard only if you're deaf to them; don't be." - Ryan Holiday

Life is our greatest teacher.

We are all life's students.

We learn from experience.

Life continually teaches us many lessons.

But as any good student-teacher relationship goes, there must be a mutual respect.

Life is a relentless teacher.

Life will deliver all lessons without discrimination or bias.

We will be served the hard lessons in life.

But they are only hard if we see them that way.

If you see it as a punishment, you've missed the point.

We are only ever punished by life if we perceive it as so.

In actually fact, it is a lesson.

It just isn't an easy one.

It is up to us to be aware of this fact.

To not be phased, but to receive the underlying message.

To be aware that all lessons, no matter easy or hard, have the same outcome.

That is, education and growth.

To learn a little bit more.

To take the learning on board and use it.

Toward the betterment of self.

Life is about trial and error.

You either win, or you learn.

In my latest Book Review #7, I review Ryan Holiday's excellent work, "The Obstacle is the Way", as well as two other great titles. Please have a read if you'd like to learn more.

Strive to live, live to strive.
