None of us live cookie-cutter lives, and no diet plan fits all.

"None of us live cookie-cutter lives, and no diet plan fits all." - Mimi Spencer

No single diet plan is the ‘best.’

No single eating program will have the same effect for everyone.

No approach to dieting is one-size-fits-all.

When you hear that a diet plan or program is going to do ‘this, that, and the other’ for you, be cautious, and be critical.

We are all individuals.

We are all genetically unique.

We are all built differently.

What works for you may not work for someone else.

So, what do we know?

We know that ‘diets’, insinuating a way of eating for a fixed period of time, will rarely provide you with sustained health and wellbeing.

We know that humans aren’t built to eat and process foods which have been manufactured and highly processed.

We know that we have evolved to eat foods which are in their natural, whole state.

We know that the best way to view nutrition is a lifestyle, rather than a diet.

What is important is to listen to your body.

Eat consciously.

Eat purposefully.

If something doesn’t feel right with your body, don’t eat it.

If an approach to nutrition doesn’t work for you, don’t do it.

Educate yourself.

Find out what your body can and cannot tolerate.

Do what works for you.

In my latest Book Review #8, I review "The Fast Diet" by Michael Mosley & Mimi Spencer, as well as two other great titles. Please have a read to see the full reviews!

Strive to live, live to strive.
