"Once obstacles were overcome, it returned to it's course, sighting on a star that indicated the location of the oasis." - Paulo Coelho
A convoy travelling through the Egyptian desert.
A long treacherous journey through the unrelenting desert.
A myriad of obstacles and challenges encountered along the way.
Desert as far as the eye can see, seemingly no end in sight.
This journey, as described by Paulo Coelho in 'The Alchemist', is analogous to the journey we each take through life.
We embark on our own individual journeys.
Surrounded by our supporting cast.
Life does not discriminate.
We will all face great obstacles and challenges.
They will test our resolve.
They will discourage us.
They will make it seem like we will never reach our oasis.
They will make us lose sight of the goal.
These things can knock us off course or halt us in our tracks all together.
Or they can simply be another trial along the road.
An opportunity to learn and grow.
In the end, we must never loosen our grip on our end goal.
Reaching the oasis.
Listen to your heart.
This acts as our own guiding star.
