"Skills can be taught. Character you either have or you don't have." - Anthony Bourdain

A tribute to the great adventurer, artist, and truth-teller.

A truly special human being.

He was able to see food and culture in a completely different light.

More than just a celebrity chef, he was able to see passed just the meal, and appreciate everything else about it.

His ability to interpret creations from the culinary world and see the artisan-ship, the craft, the cultural significance.

To be able to express this and articulate it to his global audience in such a beautiful, meaningful way.

To do so with supreme truth and honesty.

Above all else, I respect him most for his ability to express his truth and not be deterred or influenced to do otherwise.

He did it his way.

To have the courage and character to stay true to his beliefs.

May his legacy be an example for us all to do it our own way.

Rest in peace.

Strive to live, live to strive.
