"The first wealth is health." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
You could have all the money in the world.
The fastest car.
The nicest clothes.
The most property.
The fanciest jewellery.
All the designer brands.
Mingle with the most powerful people.
Without your health, all the above amounts to nought.
Analogous to a sea captain about to set off on a voyage around the world.
He can be the greatest sea captain the world has ever seen, but he cannot hope to complete his voyage with a vessel which is more like a ship wreck.
He can command the most impressive ship, but it cannot be put to use if he doesn't know the first thing about sailing.
He can be both an excellent sea captain and have the best ship in the world, but this means nothing if he doesn't know where he is going.
A balanced approach to health comes first.
Physically, mentally and spiritually.
Wealth, as you define it, will surely follow.
Strive to live, live to strive.
