The important thing is not what one is born with, but what use one makes of that equipment.

"The important thing is not what one is born with, but what use one makes of that equipment." - Alfred Adler

Some are seen to be less fortunate than others.

Those who are less privileged.

Who face mental and physical challenges daily.

Who battle with illness at some point in their lives.

I, for instance, had my own battle with cancer.

But I am also blessed to have won this battle and live a life of health and vitality.

I do not share this to ask for empathy.

I share simply to make a point.

That everyone faces their own challenges in life.

Everyone deals with their own adversity.

Everyone faces challenges.

It does not matter what the challenge is.

At the end of the day, we are all unique.

We are all human beings.

As human beings, we have the capacity.

We have the will.

We have the choice.

To choose how we face each challenge.

How we perceive it in our minds.

Do we let is conquer us?

Or do we adapt and conquer it?

If this is something that resonates with you, see my latest Book Review #4 where I review "The Courage to be Disliked"; a great text on Adlerian philosophy, as well as 2 other great titles!

Strive to live, live to strive.
