The mind is like a parachute; it doesn’t work if it isn’t open.

“The mind is like a parachute; it doesn’t work if it isn’t open” – Frank Zappa

To improve, you must be radically open-minded

Be open to the fact that everyone is different.

Accept that you will never see everything the exact same way as another.

That everyone brings their own perspectives.

Their own thoughts, opinions, beliefs and values.

Be open and accepting to expand your perspective.

The grace to allow others to be heard.

The humility to set your own views aside and open to equality-viable possibilities.

To give yourself permission.

To unlock the ability to truly grow.

If you'd like to hear more about how you can use open-mindedness to help you towards your struggles against your own ego, please read more in my latest blog post "Battle of the ego".

Strive to live, live to strive.
