The purpose of life is self-expression.

"The purpose of life is self-expression." - Oscar Wilde

It is a simple concept, but is a difficult task.

We're all born with a certain temperament.

A certain mode of operation.

A certain affinity to various aspects of the world.

We are drawn to different things.

We each tend to gravitate toward that which resonates with us.

Our task in life is simply to express ourselves honestly, through the things which we are called toward.

It is as simple as that.

The difficulty lies in maintaining the clarity of this connection.

This gravitation.

This calling.

Sadly, we are also born into a society which pushes us in a different direction.

The same direction as everyone else.

To fall in line.

To conform.

What we are drawn towards slowly fades to the background.

Hazed by the fog of societal noise and expectation.

Sadly, many lose this clarity and are never able to express themselves as they were born to.

The good news is that our calling is never completely lost.

It is always within us.

We must delve deep within ourselves.

We must find and honour our calling, and express this with the world.

In my latest blog post, "Connecting with Source - My Journey to Flow", I detail my six week journey in a Flow Pod facilitated by the team at Flow Tribe, where a group of fellow flow-seekers and I venture deeply within to turn up the volume of our inner voices. Please read on for the full account of this beautiful experience.

Strive to live, live to strive.
