"The two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why." - Mark Twain
We are all lucky and blessed enough to experience one of the most important days of our lives.
The day we were born.
The opportunity to live as a human being on this Earth.
The privilege of being able to breath the oxygen we breath.
The chance to experience the wonders of life.
We are all blessed to experience this important milestone in our lives.
Sadly, many of us do not ever experience the second most important day.
When we discover why we were born.
The reason we were put on this Earth.
Our reason for being.
Our purpose.
Society moulds us into a cog in the machine.
Dictates how we are educated.
What we learn.
When we go to work.
How we spend most of our working lives.
When we are expected to have children.
Form a family.
Tie ourselves down with debt.
Play our part in the big machine to make ends meet.
Sadly, this is the generic mould.
We don't give ourselves the opportunity to ask why.
Take a step back.
Ask the question.
Reflect.
Break free.
Find your why.
If we do not find out why, the day we were born becomes a meaningless milestone.
Strive to live, live to strive.
