The ultimate aim of the ego is not to see something, but to be something.

"The ultimate aim of the ego is not to see something, but to be something" - Sir Muhammad Iqbal

Your ego tries to tell you who you are.

What your beliefs are.

What your values are.

What your principles are.

Who you're meant to be.

How you're supposed to act.

What is right.

What is wrong.

What is acceptable.

Who to be.

To wear a mask.

To be who society wants you to be.

Silence the ego and look within yourself.

See the world as it is meant to appear through your own innocent eyes.

Your own perspective and no one else's.

For a glimpse into my own personal self-reflective journey into my own ego and what it means for me, see my latest blog post "Battle of the Ego".

Strive to live, live to strive.
