When we worry about the future, we live in anticipation.
We stress over the hope that circumstances will unfold as we wish them to.
We are live anxiously, expecting a certain outcome.
We are so caught up in anticipation for what is beyond the horizon, that completely miss the sunrise.
It is not to say that we should not be ambitious.
It is not to say that we should not plan.
It is not to say that we should not hope for great things to happen in the future.
But at the end of the day, these things are out of our control.
What is within our control?
What we do, right here, right now.
The actions we take to influence the outcomes we desire.
The steps we walk in the direction of our goal.
The intention we have in what we do now, to achieve the outcomes we aspire for.
How purposeful we are with the time in the present moment.
If you are sedentary and wasteful with your time, don't expect to be anywhere else but in the exact same place.
The things we do now will ultimately determine where we will be in the future.
You may not end up exactly where you wanted to be.
But rest assured, if you took the right actions, walked the right path, and did so with the right intention and purpose, you will not be disappointed regardless where you land.
Live intentionally.
Live purposefully.
Live immediately.
Strive to live, live to strive.
