"There is no shame in poverty; only in not doing something about it." - Pericles
We all have an aspect of our lives which we'd like to improve upon.
Something which isn't ideal.
Something which we feel is amiss.
Something we're not entirely happy with which we feel needs change.
More than just poverty, this quote has a much deeper message to convey.
It metaphorically speaks to the paramount importance of action.
No one has a perfect life.
There is certainly no shame in having areas in which you'd like to improve upon.
You're unfit and need to get back into a good training regime.
Your diet is no good and is making you ill.
You're stuck in a job which is uninspiring.
You're in a toxic relationship.
You're not happy with your life.
The question is 'what are you going to do about it?'
If you sit around pitying yourself and complaining about your situation, then truth be told, you cannot expect anything to get better for you.
There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.
Want things to be better for you?
Take action, now.
Strive to live, live to strive.
