The flow of life.
There will inevitably be good times.
There will inevitably be not-so-good times.
These are the constituents of life.
Part of the balance.
The harmony.
The yin and yang.
As the old adage goes, 'life is like a roller-coaster'.
There will be lows.
Learn to be resilient and ride-out these moments.
Know that it will pass.
Know that it cannot last forever.
Know that it will level out and good times are on the horizon.
Truly enjoy the good times for what they are.
But do not cling to them.
Know that they, too, will pass.
These are the ebbs and flows of life.
Approach them all the same way.
With optimism.
With resilience.
With poise.
With perspective.
You can either kick and scream.
Or you can enjoy the ride.
Strive to live, live to strive.
