Worry is like a rocking chair: it gives you something to do but never gets you anywhere.

Worrying.

A symptom of stress.

What does it do for you?

Does it make it easier to solve problems?

Does it provide you with options to approaching your challenges?

Does it help you overcome your obstacle?

Does it make your concerns go away?

I would say not.

Your problem is still present.

You still need to approach the challenges in front of you.

You still have to find a way to overcome your obstacles.

It only further exacerbates the magnitude of your concerns in your mind.

Worrying adds to your stress.

One feeds the other.

It is a self-sustaining cycle.

Regardless of whatever is in front of you.

You still have a life to live.

You still need to move forward.

To learn.

To grow.

To achieve.

To love.

To live.

You can worry.

Or you can remain unfazed.

Move forward with your head held high and a smile on your face.

Like the song goes, "Don't worry, be happy."

In my latest blog post, "A problem-free philosophy", I delve deeper into the phrase 'Hakuna Matata' from the children's classic, The Lion King, and how it is so much more than a catchy tune. Please have a read if you'd like to hear my thoughts on the subject.

Strive to live, live to strive.
