You can never straighten that which is crooked, unless you use a ruler.

"You can never straighten that which is crooked, unless you use a ruler." - Seneca

How do you know you're on the right track?

How do you know that what you're doing is hitting the mark?

How do you know you're improving and getting better?

Sometimes, we can be so engrossed in our task that we lose sight of the goal.

We could completely miss the fact that we are off centre.

That we've begun to work against ourselves.

We can sometimes have our blinders on.

We can sometimes lack the self-awareness.

It is helpful to have people around you to keep you in check.

Mentors to provide guidance.

Inspirational figures to measure up against.

Partners to support and motivate.

Friends who will provide real, objective feedback.

A small, tight network who you can rely on.

We can't do greatness on our own.

We can't achieve all our lofty goals by ourselves.

Let your goal guide your action.

But also your circle to support you along the way.

Strive to live, live to strive.
