You hurl yourself into the abyss and you realise that it's a feather bed.

"You hurl yourself into the abyss and you realise that it's a feather bed." - Terence McKenna

Life does not dwell on the side of comfort.

Life is not about avoiding pain and suffering for as long as possible.

Life is not about hiding from the face of fear.

To me, this is not living.

This is waiting.

Waiting for the inevitable.

For mortality to catch up to us.

For father time to call our number.

This is no way to live.

Life is about discovery.

About growth.

About wonder.

About love.

About expression.

To live authentically, you must endure discomfort.

You must work through the pain and suffering.

You must face fear head-on.

At first, it can be a daunting task.

It can be difficult.

It can be scary.

To face up to your deepest, darkest fears.

But once you do, you'll find that it isn't as bad as you may have made it out to be.

You'll discover so many great things through the process.

You'll discover the sheer beauty of life when you get to the other side.

No, life does not lie on this side of comfort.

Life is truly lived on the other side of fear.

Strive to live, live to strive.
